Art Ventures

It's fascinating for me to observe an art form and understand the aesthetics of it. Therefore I communicate with the art and the art lovers simultaneously. I interact with people to understand their viewpoints about art through various activities. So I keep myself engaged by writing blogs, talking to people and experimenting with different things. Herewith I am sharing a few of my experiments.

Patra-Chitra (PictureLetter)

The POST-CARD of Indian Post is a very common and affordable way to communicate with our dear ones staying in another city. I just thought of how to send some tiny art through this card to some of my friends and art lovers. The idea came into action in no time and I started making sketches on the cards. Sometimes I used oil crayons, sometimes ink or watercolour. The responses of the recipients were so lovely that I can't express them in words. In this activity, I posted more than a hundred art postcards.

ChitraMitra (Art Friend)

ChitraMitra is a private Facebook group that I've created which has more than 2000 art lovers who enjoy unique artworks every single day. The taste of fine art can be developed by watching a lot of artworks and appreciating them at the individual level. Many people expressed their feelings about how this art venture helped them groom their experience as art lovers. Many talented artists were introduced through this group showcasing their artworks.
